Biography
Richard became a professional actor in 1984 after training at the
Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Since then he has attained
vast experience working in theatre, radio, television and voice-overs.
Voiceovers:
National radio and TV campaigns include Toyota UK, HSBC, Wimpey
Homes, Ford UK, Financial Times, Bank of Scotland, Green Flag, plus
thousands of voice-overs for local radio.
Radio:
Numerous plays for BBC RADIO 3 and 4, with leading roles in ANNA
KARENIN, ADAM BEDE, WAVERLEY and WRITING HOME TO MOTHER.
Television:
12 years as regular character on the SCOTTISH TELEVISION production
'HIGH ROAD ', plus TV commercials.
Vocal Range:
A rich baritone quality. Although based in the far north of scotland,
natural accent is neutral R.P. English. Accents and character voice
work too.
